Saint-Priest-Bramefant - Église Saint-Priest |
|
Parking area outside the church but the church is
locked.
The Marie is next door to the church and we found it open even
though it was lunch time. A person from the Marie was happy to
accompany us to the church and unlock it for us when we told
them it would be for a very short time in order to take
photographs.

Probably effigy of a male civilian, said
to be of the last quarter of 14th or 15th centuries. Very coarse
stone (limestone). Very weathered to be almost unrecognisable.
Clearly it has been in the open for many years but is now inside
under the tower at the west end of the church. |
